The Palace Retirement Community

Quality Initiatives

Our Home has established several quality initiatives for staff & residents. One of these is the education of staff to meet the evolving needs of our residents by providing growth for staff in education throughout self learning module with Surge Learning.

An additional exiting initiative is our Living Dreams Program – We believe in the power of dreams! Having dreams is important for everyone – regardless of age. It is that special something that keeps us young – at – heart! The goal of our living dreams program is to enhance the quality of life for our residents, to create timeless memories, and to change the perception of aging, one dream at a time. In our actions and our words, we want our residents to know their dreams are of value and are worth pursuing. With a little help from their friends, their dreams can become a reality.

Make a Difference …..Volunteer

Our home offers a variety of programs to enhance the lives of residents. Volunteers are an important part of their day to day lives. With your assistance we can create the warmth and vitality needed to keep the hearts and minds of our residents healthy, happy and engaged in their home.

Who Volunteers?

Our volunteers come from all walks of life. They are special people who choose to contribute their time, energy and special skills to the residents that live here.

Our volunteers are men and women, young and old, single and partnered, students, working people and retirees. They also come from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

How Do I Become a Volunteer?

Becoming a volunteer is easy. Please contact Nicole Bourbonnais our Activity Director at the Palace. After learning more about the organization, there will be a short interview and our Coordinator will work with you to best match your talents and interests.
